Exceptional orchard products. Grown Sustainably.

The Goal.

To produce exceptional orchard products in a sustainable way. To insure exceptional products, we select our varieties based on one criteria - taste. To make the farm sustainable, we work hard to have a light carbon footprint.

Farming Practices.

We use cover crops and compost to nurture the soil; wood chips as vole and weed suppression; molasses and other traps to manage pests; and wild flowers to attract beneficial insects. We spray only as necessary to produce high quality fruit.

The Orchard.

On 24 acres bordered by the Little River and the Mountain Creek, we planted nearly 3,000 trees made up of over 50 varieties of apples, peaches, and Asian pears.

Apples.

We offer an assortment of heirloom and modern apples from the balanced sweet/tart flavor of the Pristine to the exceptionally sweet and tart Wickson. Apples are available from July to October.

Peaches.

We offer eight varieties of peaches - some white fleshed, some yellow. Peaches are available from late June to early August.

Blackberries.

We offer only thornless blackberry varieties including Triple Crown, Navaho, Natchez, Sweetie Pie and The Von, the latest release from North Carolina State.
